Black Star Wastrels

One of the most powerful and infamous pirate gangs in the Zyxx quadrant. They command a dozen ships and effectively control a large island in space, Black Star. Their base's location is a well kept secret.
Like most career pirates, they know the drill when it comes to raiding volatile products like Energized Malachite. They primarily raid for this specific product due to it's value density and due to being one of the few factions that know how to handle it safely. They know how to capture merchant ships without the use of magic, how to move the materials, and are wise enough not completely decimate their victims (see Bleak-Scuttle ).
