Continental Imperial Crown

All imperial monarchs have looked for it. But the Empress-Regent seems to have a deep obsession with finding it. But I mean, who can blame her, after all, it is that which would complete her rule entirely. The most revered object of the old Continental empire. Significance

Symbol of power

The crown was worn by the emperors of the Central Continent who ruled over it as a whole nation. It should be of no surprise then, that the crown is considered one of the most impressive representations of imperial prestige and power, one thanks to which the entire symbolic importance of the monarch's crown was recognised, giving it associated symbolicism.

Symbol of "the Divine Right"

The Continental Emperors held absolute power in their dominion and were often treated as revered individuals, having divine right to the throne granted by higher powers. This is a tradition that is still upheld around many monarchies around Aon.

Historical and artistic importance

The crown was at the heart of the events of the Old Continental Empire, as it was regularly worn by the imperial monarch. Almost every depiction of each continental emperor that is present within the Throne shows him with the crown atop his head.

The crown's disappearance

No one knows what happened to it during the chaotic events of the continental collapse. Some say it was destroyed, some that it was buried beneath the earth so that no one would find it. There are even some that claim the crown was walled up somewhere in the Throne of the Emperors for safeguarding and then they just forgot about it. Solarian scholar about the crown's disappearance
The crown, alongside other imperial symbols of power, went missing during the collapse of the Continental Empire. No records were ever discovered concerning its fate, leaving many to believe that it was either destroyed or hidden away to keep it safe from harm. Many still search for it, although no trace has been found.
