There are few titles in history that resound with such prestige and power as the one of the Continental Emperor. They held absolute power over every internal and foreign affair, having the rest of the government serve only a supportive role in their reign. Revered as chosen by the heavenly forces and considered to have the divine right to the imperial throne, they were the beating heart of the empire.
Circle of closest imperial advisors
These were the people who answered directly to the emperor, having the rest below them. They advised the emperor on a regular daily basis in the affairs of the state. The circle leader was called "the Great Advisor" and held the power to exercise imperial authority when the emperor was away.History
Creation
Created somewhere around 450CE, the beginning of the empire is somewhat shrouded in mystery. There are many concepts on how a continental unification might have happened, but the most popular theory is the religious zeal the old peoples of the Central Continent showed culminated in their unity under one, considered to be chosen by their divine lords, leader.Creation of the Throne of the Central Emperors
The most spectacular achievement of the whole existence of the Empire was the commission and creation of the legendary Throne of the Emperors, the colossal structure from which the vast nation would be governed. Due to the cultural differences between the regions, growing civil unrest began shaking the foundations of the empire. The religion that held the empire together began weakening, with people losing faith in what was once so fervently believed. The progress of technology somewhat speeded up the process of turning away from the spiritualist aspects of life. After the inefficient rule of the last three emperors, the various peoples of the empire have had enough and began separating from the state, eventually leading to its absolute collapse.Territories
