Cackle fruit and coppers

Grotesques and gargoyles have an interesting pallet. Water and moss are high on their lists, being exposed to moisture it can be expected that they have 20 different words for rain. They can tell which was the rain storm blew from.   Delicasies that they can scrounge in the city are cackle fruit and coppers. Cackle fruit being what fragile's call eggs. Chickens are commonly kept in the city as a small coup does not need much room. Gargoyles can quickly, stealthily sneak in at night. Slip a hand under a sleeping chicken to snatch an egg or two. Coppers are any small type of coins that are tossed into fountains or get lost in the busy city streets. Many get lost near taverns, spilling into the muddy streets. The new cobble stones provide a healthy crack to trap these treats that gargoyles like to suck on, put under their tongues or stuff into their cheeks.   With the large number of poor, homeless and orphaned fragiles coppers are hard to come by. That is part of the reason they are the object of the coy hunt.   Other more nefarious nocturnals, those who mostly stick to the forests and countryside prefer chickens, cattle, dogs and long pig. Long pig (fragiles) (humans) are particularly tasty and tender. Different nocturnals have different favourite parts of a long pig. Ch Freybugs enjoy plumb toes. Pulling them off like juicy grapes. Rougarou enjoy the inner thigh. Mathrics just a sip of blood, bull is best but human will do in a pinch . Lacking a refined palate, it is said that Trolls enjoy the crunch of a nice skull. Wesakechak has been known to eat scabs although it will never admit it. Wesakechak, like gargoyles, finds it extremely enjoyable to steal food. Stolen food somehow tastes better.
