Industry areas in Glenora.

Historically areas in the city drew different industries. One or two butcher shops open near the stockyards and before anyone knows it they multiply, Butcher and Clever streets first are called such by the locals. Soon the name sticks. Government officials encourage it due to easy of regulating and taxation.   Close to the university area, scribes, book sellers, book binders, iluminators settled like barnicles on the ships , setting up shops on the side of what was soon called Books bridge. Structures were build hanging well over the water leaving a lane for horses and small carts to pass on the bridge. Felix, a poor poet and student, plied an honest trade when circumstances forced him on Books bridge as a scribe for those far from home and illiterate who wanted to send word to loved ones. He had a large box, with inkwell and quill, a box with a cushion for himself, and a box for customers. They would dictate what they wanted to say and Felix would use his years of education to write it down. The letters would be sent with merchants heading in whichever direction the letter needed to go. Felix felt his genius was wasted with letters for these country bumpkins. These mindless boring letters were beneath a skilled poet such as himself. Felix liked the thrill of easy money. Games of chance especially if he could rig the odds in his favour. He also would steal, pick pocket, or rob. Felix associated with some unsavory characters in order to live the lifestyle he thought he was entitled too.   Spicer's and tea merchants together in one area.   Button makers, shoe makers, habidashers, tailors, cloth sellers in one area.   Taverns, wine merchants and public houses tucked in corners and alleys where ever they had an opportunity
