General Summary

The Legend of the Abbey!

all have heard the tales of the Abbey, but its location was lost in time, until now. As LUCK WOULD HAVE IT, it is near your new manors. less than a day's ride to the south.
  • A traveling bard by the name of Afan Ferddig the Poet of Cadwallon, sing a tale of the magical Falkrest Abbey and the endless amount of treasure, of the healing powers of its fountains and its endless dangers that abound.
They are approached by Loren Kenithei a sage interested in determining the truth about the Abbey. He would like to recover the tears of St. Brynedd form the Fountain of St. Brynedd . He is willing to pay the insane amount of £300.00 for any magic tears (healing type), books and any information about the place. He recently found some old drawings of the Abbey in a church in London He would also like to keep this low key, until his book comes out. He will of course give the knights the credit they are due. He tells the group that he has not informed Sir Hywel The banneret of West Lavington but he is sure that it would only bother him. if they fail, they tell him nothing, but if they succeed, they must tell him and give him part of the glory...but that is up to the party.  
  • He tells the group in a hushed voice that OTHERS may be looking for it and it could be extremely dangerous. This is why he will not set forth on this adventure himself.
  • if pressed: Earl Lockhart and his goons.
 
  • He would like the group to keep a journal. He tells the group that they may keep everything else.

  2. is it still standing?
  3. are their monks there?
  4. How are the tears created? or is this a fable.
