Winter Wedding: Sir Nuke and Lady Tara

Winter Wedding:

  GOSSIP, INDULGE, FLIRT, OR GAME everyone starts with 0 but it carries over to the next day. Geniality: A successful roll on any of these activities earns +1 Geniality, or +2 Geniality with a critical success. A fumble costs -1 Geniality.    

Day 1: Induction

dwarf arrives and announces that his lord has set up a tent at the nearest crossroads and wishes to meet the host and any other guests who wish to come. a foreign king, King Urien of Cumbria. he presents a gift to the bide -1 bound script for a tragic play (Orate check)1.5L   exhibition combat: Practice swords (all in good fun, until it's not)   Music dance: knights and guest dance. (Dance roll, success 10 glory, crit success 20, fail= Nothing, but no one makes fun of you. Fumble=you slip and fall, they all laugh at you like you are a big joke - make a proud roll- Fumble= you are a bit red face but bow and announce and for my next trick."+1g fail= you are red-faced and laugh at yourself too. Success, you flip everyone off and walk out of the feast for 1d4 rounds. Crit Success, you jump on a table and scream at the Croud "am I your Jester? I will challenge any man hear to a dual outside if you find me amusing!" (These duals are not to the death and normally either side can yield without losing face) you lose all your geniality points for the day. you will also get a Reckless and Vengeful check.   entertainment: “Wildman” who run around on all fours, wearing little else but leaves and furs, barking at guests and competing with the dogs for table scraps. it is a HOOT! generous/selfish roll; success=you throw some scraps to the Entertaiment and dogs. crit success=generous check. fail=you kick at the entertainment.  

Feast:1

Course #1=Cod tails and potatoes and carrots; cream cakes. breads, cheeses, and sweet meat both wine and ale are available. (Indulgent roll= success drank a little too much -5 skills, crit success=pasted out on the table. will make a con check -5 until end of the day. success you lose the -5 and play on. crit success gives you a +5 on con checks for the day. fail=-5 play on. fumble=pass out the rest of the day. games: Knife throwing, knights challenge! enter: Dancers and acrobats - tight rope over the crowd of people. Course #2=Roasted crane with Honey dates. Cheesecake with cherries and apple sauce topping. breads, cheeses. games: dice, wrestle roman style (no shirt, no shoes) just a pair of pants and oil! (Str 16) enter: Jugglers, dog tricks and clowns. - play a card. Course #3=Roasted pigeon; roast cabbage, Roman honey cookies. games: (20 glory) arm wrestle - enter: The course has been laid before the group. and everyone talks as the knight's arm wrestle after the meal: “passing the harp” at the end of a meal, enjoining guests to pick out a few notes and sing a favorite song.    

Day 2: Day before the wedding

course #1 -Pastries (fig, plum, quince, and apple). games: Drinking game...Rakia drink (clear) con roll. enter: Group carols (singing roll) crit success= +2g and sing check; succ=+1g; fail=nothing; fumble=(-1g) people step away from your squawking! course #2- Cockentrice! games: long jump; they head outside (weather is nice) a large pit filled with mud and water, enter: The Jester - pokes fun at everyone... course #3 -Venison in frumenty games: Beam walk, knights walk the beam while ladies throw bean bags at them, the bag has chalk powder. enter: Jugglers and fire eaters.  

Day 3: The Wedding

course #1 -Almond omelet games: ride the horse- a barrel tied from each corner dex roll, success enter: Singers (the three sisters) Course #2 -Meat tiles- mutton, pork, chicken games: Race, foot race. or play card enter: Storyteller: with a flute player... Course #3- Roasted pigeon mashed peas. games: 1. CARDS enter: A Fat clown explodes into 4 dwarfs, who run about the room blowing horns...Suddenly there is a large horn blasts that shakes everyone in the hall...the dwarfs run for the door as a thick mist pour into the room and a chill fall over the crowd. a great gust of wind blows out the candles at the table leaving only a couple of torches and a Eiree light casting shadows. A druid appears in his dark brown cloud and intones a prophecy. He approaches the table with the groom and announces to everyone...He tells the groom that he will be blessed with a son before the end of the year! He cast some powder on the center pit and a blinding flash fills the room.
