House Zaberwald

House Zaberwald ruled Treland for many centuries prior to being overthrown by House Talenov in the Talenov Rebellion.

After the rebellion, the Zaberwalds were thought to have been extinct. However, they reemerged after the War of Gears to seize power in the Huntlands. There is still some debate as to whether Bruno Zaberwald is a legitimate descent of the old House Zaberwald or if he was just using the name.

In 1304, House Zaberwald again went extinct after losing the Wizard's War.
