Cyprian holds dual-faith allegiance to Catholicism and Cornish traditional craft, so his Blessing of the Gods would flow from the abstract concepts of crossroads, intersection, and liminality. Cyprian is a reincarnation/distillation/amalgamation of all the personalities that were in Matthew Lutey, but re-assembled and integrated in a way that is harmonious rather than painful. Cyprian is Aiwaz, if that character had his shit together (which he didn't, most of the time). Cyprian is from 17th century Cornwall. Cyprian is accompanied by a black dog named Jackdaw.
