Perillel Senate Station
The epitome of democratic systems in the far reaches of the galaxy, the Perillel Senate Station houses all senators, emissaries, the Supreme Justices, and the president of the system. In geosynchronous orbit above Eterra, the Senate writes the laws that establish orber, enforced by the president and the Perillel Republic Forces. The station represents freedom and democracy for all residents of Perillel. It's walls hosted the discoverers and founders of our great system.
The Beginning
The Senate was originally titled Perillel Observatory Station (POS). When the original colonists arrived, they established the station as an exploratory outpost in order to determine the habitability of the Eterra. The station itself was well equipped, with living quarters and hydroponics labs as well as extensive research equipment. The POS would also continue to be used as a hub for exploring Relm and Journey-2. After extensive infrastructure was established on Eterra, most of the crew moved planetside.POS as a Transport Hub
As the residents of POS moved to Eterra, the state used the station as its primary transport and cargo dock. This required a way to easily navigate goods and personnel from the station to Eterra's surface. The then assembly, which would later evolve to become the Senate, decide to construct a space-elevator to POS. The construction took 14 months and was christened by Larry Walls, the first president of Perillel.Conversion to the Senate
With the cities on Eterra quickly becoming equipped to handle larger vessels, the need for POS was diminishing. As the station was extremely well built, the newly established Senate saw it fit to repurpose POS for the Senate hall. They stripped the cargo equipment, refitted the residency quarters and turned the old hydroponics lab into a grand chamber. Today, stepping foot on the Senate station is considered an honor for diplomats and a requirement for anyone of high stature.
