The Journic
The citizens of Journey-2, known as the Journic, are often seen as technophobic, although in reality they tend to just prefer simple living. They are in fact dependent on technology for their lives; Journey-2 relies on a large electromagnet for its magnetic field.Journey-2: A senator who dislikes technology
With elections on the horizon, Senator McAfee continues to insist on his low-technology approach for the moon of Journey-2. Read more here.
Journic Opinion of Technology
The Journic people were raised on the belief that machines require people, not the other way around. In this sense, the Journic people tended to lean towards minimalism for their everyday lives. After the growth of atmosphere on Journey-2, they immediately began starting farms to grow their own food, free of processing and chemicals introduced into the majority of food in Perillel. Now, with the exception of the Magnetic Field Station and its chain of fusion reactors, Journey-2 citizens are completely free of technological dependency.Journic Traditions
Because the Journic grow their own food, they have established several traditions and festivals to celebrate their self-reliance. They also appreciate hard work and honesty above all else. Dishonest people are often ostracized and choose to move either to another town or off world."Damn 'stillers always gotta make life difficult; we don't care if you're making moonshine! We are looking for a murderer!" -bounty hunter on Journey-2
Moonshiners
The Journic people have many disagreements with Perillian laws but one is almost completely ignored; prohibition. Journic Moonshine is considered some of the highest quality throughout the Milky Way and is highly sought after, which has led to the recent increase of bootlegging operations in Perillel. Etterans and Relmers have little qualms with Journic distilleries and thus the law is rarely exercised on the planet. The Harvest Festival
Every five months, Journey-2 citizens participate in a large festival to celebrate the harvest of their crops. The festival lasts four days; during the day the Journic help each other harvest crops, and at night they participate in games, watch plays, dance and perform charity. Many families prepare kuzardi, a dish made from Gumpa, during the festival. After the four days, the people clean up and go back to work.
NEED MOONSHINE???
"The Journic aren't bad people necessarily, but they could learn to appreciate taking it easy."

Thanks, Storm! And noted, I shall query the CSS God and find a solution to the comment box issue.
