The Labyrinth

The Labyrinth is a world renowned library that holds endless ancient texts, many thought to be long dead. The Labyrinth is entirely underground, shaped as a pyramid build upside down. There are seven floors in the Labyrinth, with the first floor being massive and holding all of the more basic tombs and each floor's contents growing more rare and unique. The security also increases as you descend. The first floor is the only one open to the public independently. The second floor requires permission from the Circle and supervision to access. The 3rd and 4th floor are open to members of the Oasis only. The 5th floor is available to members of the Oasis only with special permission from the Prahmuk. The 6th and 7th floors are off limits to everyone in the city aside from the Prahmuk, Ameer, and Labakti. The Labyrinth is ran by a unique partnership between the Druids, Luminae, and Zari.   1st floor- basic library - open to the public 2nd floor- rare tomes and sensitive topics - with permission and supervision open to the public 3rd floor- very very old and rare tomes - circle members only 4th floor-Lower level magic scrolls and tomes - circle members only 5th floor- High level magic scrolls and tomes - circle members only w/special permission from the 3 6th floor- Very important - no access allowed except the 3 7th floor- Book of Balance - no access allowed except the 3

Purpose / Function

The labryinth was created by the oasis of the sands to hold the knoweldge they hold dear. Because of it's seculded location, many people have entrusted the circle to hold sensitive information. Some of it has been collected by the circle or volunteers, some has been donated or given to the circle. Access to the city and Labryinth is highly sought after in many circles.

Defenses

The first level is huge, long, and low. The only level above ground. From there, a single staircase decends along the back, protected at the top by a Zari by a door reinforced with an arcane lock. Only Luminae and those with the password are able to enter. The code switches routinely. The second level is mostly visted by Luminae, though the occasional visitor is purusing as well.
