The Birth of Ralithesh

The younger brother of the Elven Kingdom successfully rebelled against his elder and broke away, founding the kingdom of Ralithesh

Ralithesh was formed thousands of years ago, when two brothers of the elven king conflicted over who would be King. The younger brother had a rally of followers who valued his rulings better than his older brother's. The younger brother valued progression and using knowledge to advance the traditions, while the elder brother believed that tradition should define their knowledge. Their parents granted the younger brother a dukedom on the outskirts of the kingdom which grew and grew until it rebelled against the rest of the kingdom, eventually breaking off and creating a kingdom of it's own. Because of this, Ralithesh has its roots in elven tradition, but has since lost many of the defining features of elven rule. Now, even more so.
