Uzhept, the Old Capital (uʒɛpt)

The old port city of Ptarshakk, Uzhept was the site of the original Ptarshaii colony. It became a fort, then a city, and for about a century it prospered before the secondary city Ptansannae named for the ancestral capital, Zann (and its founding house), eclipsed it and became the centre of Ptarshakkian power. There exists a base rivalry between the port cities of Zennept on Chaalai and Uzhept on the Sea of the Ptarshaii; neither port city could possibly compare to the majesty of the capital, Ptansannae.
