Void

In the midst of the Myriad Islands, there are particular deepsea voids where the clear blue of the shallow waters nearest to the land, falls suddenly away into inky black deep trenches. The locals believe it is these deep dark voids are where all water comes from. Yet in the blackness, the voids are feared as otherwoldly portals to a sea of perpetual black.
