Astro Beef Steak - Stellararch Dish

The Stellararchs have adjusted to the world on the moon, where they are safe from Earth’s unexpected disasters. When they can’t safely spend vacation seasons on Earth’s select reserved plots of ‘paradise’, they enjoy their state-of-the-art citadels.   After generations of life on the moon, humans have grown accustomed to the seasonality of their meals and how they eat.   The problem on the moon is that resources are not as abundant as when they are on Earth. Most resources that support human life have to be shipped from Earth to the moon, and while they are able to do this often it never compares to what they could have on Earth. And certain foods are simply unsustainable in space.   The moon citadels can only store foods without water content, though water can be added later to make a new dish. Rehydrated fruits topped with Organic Raw Honey and even Space Stew are some everyday favorites for the Stellararchs!   But one dish is reserved for special events and celebratory parties…

Astro Beef Steak

Serves 20   10 pounds of authentic salt dried beef slices 3 pounds sweet tomato vinegar powder 5 oz. of Novafuel Hot Powder to taste   First, cover the dried beef in the sweet tomato vinegar powder. This can be mixed in a large mixing bowl or on a large tray with the beef layered and flipped to reach different sides. (For non-Stellararchs, please note the beef is so salty that salt is not needed to add flavor.)   Next, layer the beef into thick stacks of about 15-20 slices.   Then, inject Novafuel in the center of each stack. The oil of Novafuel will need 40 hours to soak into all of the meat to activate the flavor of the powder and hydrate the meat.   In 40 hours, the beef will cut almost like a rare steak and the smells of the tomato will fill the room with fragrance that reminds these humans of the great food on Earth.   (… it’s basically fortified beef and rehydrated ketchup.)
