The Night
Very little is known about the history of demons. It is known they intervene when humanity is going too well and needs a quick vibe check, however it is impossible to know when/why their forces will turn up to ruin things. Each of them has their own following on Fass but The Night's following has dwindled over the years. Less and less people are willing to ruin other people's lives on a whim as society progresses but The Night's worshippers still exist as a rather successful organisation, relying on The Night's teachings to carry out their business.
