Dhoraldur
Mountain ranges span an island that creates the Yorakhim homeland of Dhoraldur. Flat-topped spires are home to small villages of Yorakhot, most of them miners, who subsist on a diet of mostly roots and gamey meats, as the lack of arable land makes farming difficult. Larger cities are usually built into the landscape itself, whether it be inside a hollowed out mountain, chipped into a cliffside, or tunneled into the ground itself, making the Yorakhot cities some of the most defensible ones in the world.
Rural residents in Dhoraldur are few and far between, though a scattered number of them do exist. Between the unfriendly landscape and even more unfriendly creatures, Dhoruldur makes it difficult to live in small groups.
Structure
Dhoraldur is ruled by the King, who is served by a long list of nobles, all of whom control various lands and titles.
