The Great Ring

The great ring is the name for the 13 stellar deities of Phaesion. The celestial city of Cicaelum is contained on the moon, sprawling across its face like spilled wine. The stars and comets of the constellations are not confined to this place, but many reside there, whiling away hundreds of years in an afternoon. The great ring, much like everything else, has a set pattern to its cycle: Life, Tempest , Nature, Protection, Knowledge, Arcana, Trickery, Forge, City, War, Grave, Death, Light. This pattern swirls tightly inwards, each era following the last with the certainty of the stars.
