The God War

You awake to… worship. Not the sound or feeling of worship, there are no prayers ringing in your ears or overpowering sensations of holiness or power coursing through your veins, mainly because you no longer have ears, or veins, or even sensations. No, the worship you have awoken to simply is, in the same way you simply are. If you had eyes, you would be blinking them, if you had limbs, you would be moving them, but you don't have any of these things, so you simply are. You simply exist, largely unbound from time, free of a physical existence and sensations, and aware only that somewhere, someone is worshipping you.
