Callidora's Warning

I awoke with a start. My entire house trembled and loud emergency sirens pierced through the air. After ushering my family to the safest spot in the house we turned on the radio only to hear the news that if we don't evacuate now, we'll all fall into the sea.

On the day of The Great Shattering. Phaiyon's citizens had very little time to react to the events and get to safety. This message was a broadcast aired on every available outlet to reach as many people across the globe as possible. It was a warning from a renowned researcher who had been keeping tabs on the geological events that led to the devastating destruction everyone faced that day.

Thanks to Callidora's swift work, the predicted amount of people lost to tthe event was reduced. She is still remembered in the current era after surviving cultures passed on their praises and thanks for being warned in time to take shelter.

Callidora's Warning

Attention, citizens of Phaiyon, it is with great urgency that I relay this message to all of you. I know there are bad tremors all over the globe, but please stay calm and follow these directions. If you are able, evacuate your home and make your way to the nearest visible skyship. There are already groups deployed to rescue as many individuals as possible. Stay with them on their ship until everything is over and they will do their best to find everyone shelter.
If you cannot reach a ship, shelter in place and stay as close to the ground's surface as possible. Avoid any tall areas, unstable structures, or going too deep underground. Whatever is going to happen within the next couple hours is predicted to send a majority, if not all, of our planet's land masses hurtling into the sky.
I am greatly sorry everyone, but there is nothing else we can do to stop this. Please stay safe out there and let's hope for the best.
