Students attending Cherry Hill University have an assortment of classes to choose from. The first draft was created by its founder Cassandra Moonglow. Over the years its staff adjusted it to fit different needs and interests. Course availability fluctuates based on interest and staffing.
Intro to Magic:
This is a required course for anyone with no prior experience. It covers the general basics of the field and what branches are available. The class also touches on the basic history of the arcane.
Arcane Safety:
This is a required course for all students no matter their initial experience. It covers all safety precautions around the field and the basics of magic ethics.
Finding Your Familiar:
This course helps those interested in working with a familiar. It covers the basics and helps students discover what type would work best for them.
Basic Enchantments:
This course introduces students to the art of enchantment. It will cover the basics and specific safety measures. Each student will have the goal of enchanting their own small item by the end of the course.
Spell Books 101:
This is an introductory course for fields that use spell books or people with a basic interest in them. Students will learn how to make their own starter books and how to care for them.
Beginner Potions:
Students will learn the basics of potion brewing along with some of its history. This class covers easy ways to source materials and what tools are used in the craft.
Famous Mages:
This is a history course. It covers well known practitioners from various arcane fields. Required reading will center around their memoirs and biographies.
Healing Basics:
Students interested in healing will be introduced to basic spells and potions related to health. First aid and helpful plant identification are also covered.
