Phaldorya (Eng)

Phaldorya is a continent created on the planet Fyrdle by the cataclysms that followed the Great Mages' War, 3000 years before the current date.
A distinct racial and ethnic split divides the humans that live in the north and west of the continent, the dwarves that occupy most of the subterranean spaces, the elves self-isolating behind a magical barrier in the northwest and the nomadic tribes of the eastern planes and icy northeast. Intermixed with the humans, gnomes and halfling are common.
The aftermath of the Mages' war brought the human population to fear magic and to try to limit its use. At first, the magic users tried to self regulate with the foundation of the Mages' Conclave, then with the strong control of Be Chuille's church through its Inquisition.
