Martisha's revenge list
Backes Dunfield - bastard was my bartender for years, and was obviously using my inn as a spy base. He's a human male, scarred down one cheek. Generally wears a worn leather coat over commoner clothes. I have suspicions that he used to be a pirate.
Piet Tenpin - A regular patron, halfling loner, has a very cruel sense of humor. He disguised himself working as a local woodcutter. He wore blue stripes on his smock under a leather apron.
Henk Turgor - Worked as a local laborer. He is a half-orc ex soldier from Ruathym. I thought he was just dumb and easily led, but he definitely enjoys violence. He overpowered several of the fighting patrons by himself.
Dampfred - A water genasi. We occasionally paid him to wash dishes. A bit lost and excitable, seemed keen to be running with 'real' villains. I remember he liked standing out in the rain.
Gave her name as Jocelyn Gilsalor - A female elf traveller who stopped at the inn two days before they attacked, 'waiting for a message'. She wore fine clothing, and I think she had hidden weapons on her. Her footwear looked like those enchanted 'step-lightly' sandals from Waterdeep. She was the one who arranged the other captives for the ritual. Kill her twice, if you get the chance.
Gerrit Boltrigger - Dwarf ex-sailor, had a handcart and traded dried fish up and down the highroad. Always seemed a bit slimy and smelled very obviously of fish, and he never took off his oilskin raincoat and wipe-clean gloves.
Ailwind Sleetstide - Appeared to be an elf merchant and introduced himself as 'Alwyn', but I overheard the cultists call him by his full name. They toadied to him, so he's probably powerful or high rank in their cult. Always robed, with straight pale hair. His belt held a wand and a dagger and he rode a very skinny white horse.
Harradwind Forgeblaster - A dwarf ore merchant supposedly based in Neverwinter. He stopped by every month or so for long chats with Backes at the bar. Enjoyed kicking the tied-up prisoners.
A lizardman called Bhlarg the Flatulent? - He didn't appear until the fighting broke out, but was clearly a longstanding member of the group. Seemed a bit mad, even by lizardman standards. Had a huge backpack and went around the Inn picking up the most random things to put in it.
P.S. I'll have to ask you to also keep an eye out for the bard, Tarbin Tul. He was taken away as an important hostage and seemed terrified, but I think it's suspicious for them to go out of their way for a simple bard, no matter his musical reputation. I don't know what 'Songs from Lost Anauria' might be code for, but they took him when he confirmed he had them.
