Milk of Mawu

Milk of Mawu is a rare delicacy classified as a Restricted Drug . Often referred to a MM, it can only be found in the Gateway Caverns in Sikel City. Although it is technically forbidden to enter the Gateway Caverns, there is no law against collected MM. After harvesting, it must be consumed within a few hours or it will lose its potency.
MM is collected from stalactite drippings and placed in air-tight containers in order to lengthen its lifespan. People who wish to sample the drug must order it well in advance. The creamy liquid has a sour taste and is often served over seafood. Though it is considered an acquired taste, few people would turn down the opportunity to consume MM.
Thought of as the preferred food of Loa, the Milk of Mawu is thought to give its consumers Brane. Whether this is true, has been disputed. Users have claimed the drug gives them the eyes of the Loa and increases their strength and reflexes. Opponents believe it is all psychedelic.  The effects of the drug last for a few hours. Side effects include sudden fatigue and sluggishness after the drug wears off. In extreme cases, users can experience temporary loss of sight.
