True Residents Conspiracy

There is a conspiracy amongst some humans of Phasmatum that it was not the humans that travelled to the planet of Phasmatum, but rather the Kuvonee . The theory states that the Kuvonee are the true interlopers on the planet and the most powerful of them used their powers of manipulation to cause mass brainwashing of the human race.
Humans who believe this often refer to themselves as True Residents. Many of them are xenophobic -- carry a general distrust and often times, outright hated for any species that is not human. They also look down on humans who choose to create families with the Kuvonee, as well as any mixed species people. True Residents show disregard to the Phasmatum Council and believe that they members know the truth, but choose to go along with the lie in order to keep the human population in line.
They do not believe that there was a destruction of a planet called Earth and therefore see no value in The Hope Contract. Many go so far as to state that technological advancement far outweighs the risks of any harm done to the planet.They can often be found in cities that are trying to push the limits of the contract in order to gain more power.
Of course, not all True Residents are power-hungry xenophobics. As the human population is reaching a millennia on the planet Phasmatum, it is hard to believe that there was ever another planet they once called home. Or that those so-called Earthlings had the power to fly through the starts. Many people choose to believe that both humans and Kuvonee are the True Residents of Phasmatum; however, their cultures were separated by the ocean. Others believe the Kuvonee are actually the descendants of spirit-human relations and that is why they are able to draw power from within themselves, rather than needing to rely on the spirits.
One thing is true across the board in the True Residents Conspiracy -- Earth never existed. Phasmatum is humans' true home.
