Directions on the Disk

Because of the way the disk spins, its cardinal directions are reasonably easy to define. From outside the plane is it easy to see the material plane as a disk, albeit one with some strange internal dimensions. The disk spins through the Inner Planes tumbling end-over-end like a spinning coin. The axis it spins on is the North-South line and the direction of spin defines East and West. East is the falling edge and West is the rising one- thus the planes rise in the East and set in the West.
If one points one's right hand towards the rising positive energy plane, palm down, and curls one's fingers, the thumb would point North and the fingers would follow the rotation of the material plane.
