Kythorn 30: Pacu Pacu 2 electric boogaloo

General Summary

Participants: Dimble, Prime, Sandra, Tana, & Shaph
Group traveled to the village of Pacu Pacu where glowing purple vines were growing among the trees and seemed to be made with conjuration magic. the town seemed inactive and further investigation showed that the villagers were dead. In the horizon, a glowing purple and green lights can be seen over by where the crystal was seen last.
Investigation of the area revealed the crystal now glowing and seemingly the source of the vines and a spectral, 14' sabertooth tiger. Using "speak with animals" we found the tiger to be "the guardian of the forest" and was trying to purge his forest of the "corruption" which was the crystal. Observing the crystal reaveled there was something inside, pooling absorbed energy.
After attacking the crystal, small tendrils came out and attacked. They seemed to absorb some energy from magic attacks but still took damage. If the tendrils were pierced it would bleed out some of the magical energy. The crystal, if damaged, would bleed more but seemed to absorb magic.
Destroying the crystal released a dark furred, bamboo like creature with purple feathers on its face and glowing red eyes and face markings. It could attack with a dark purple energy able to hit a certain area and could attack with tendrils from its body. Doesnt absorb magic attacks.
After killing the creature, it vanished and left behind some of the crystal shell. The sabertooth tiger, who was named Tony, allowed us to leave but warned us not to venture into its forest. He informed us he killed the villagers.
Special note: there can be more of these crystal eggs. Should be sought out and contained when possible and destroyed where needed.
Special special note: Tony does not seem friendly to adventures. Avoid forests with trees shaped like sabertooth tiger teeth, those are Tony's.
