Kythorn 8: Escort Lumberjacks, Investigate Cave/Devil

General Summary

The large group heads out from the bar heading first to escort the lumberjacks. After walking for about 3 hours they encounter a guy who is protecting what seems to be his body. The person standing above the body was a servant to his fallen master who was stabbed by a man in a black cloak attempting to rob him. The servant fought off the attacker who ran to the north. The group took note of that then continued to escort the lumberjacks. The group successfully lead the lumberjacks and find some tracks belonging to a demon of sorts and follow them to a cave covered in a lot of vegetation. They enter the cave and encounter a fall trap which they passed with ease and then found a fork in path where the party split up to cover more ground. A landslide separated them, but both parties proceeded forward carefully down there respective paths. They encounter a strange mirror and 4 pressure plates after walking down they hall a bit. They see the other party looks to be on the other side? After putting in the right code and solving the puzzle they encounter 2 portals and go through the red portal. After going through the find a demon and imp who summoned several cronenberg creatures that the party fought. The now whole group destroyed the symbol on the ground by taking all of the gold inlays out. After exploring for a way out they take a portal and find that they are to the north of the wolf cave and now make their way back to town.
