Strange apperances across the city.
The ever increasing pandemic of strange belongings appearing in people houses and pictures that showed someone apparently in love with another person, a person that the home owner knows nothing about, has continued to be reported at a steady rate. We first brought this to your attention four days ago when Afra Ross reported in to the Westenra City guards who in turn passed it onto the city force of police. She had reported waking up to see strange pictures of her and a man smiling at one another and some of them kissing, a man that, to this day she still claims to have no memory of but also has a ring upon her finger. The police, over the four days have come into contact with many more individuals, mainly half-elves, who have reported very similar experiences, some of them even having the house deeds having strange names upon them. Some of this individuals gave half responses to whom these people might have been, one claiming that they were former room mates and the other person was off studying in a private monostery and couldn't quite recall their name off the top of their head without refering to the documents.
We however are still not fully convinced by this and spoke with the Light of Corellian himself who had this to say. "I understand that these sudden belonging appearances and strange half memories spawning into people's minds are concerning. I have asked Corellian himself for guidance upon this and I have been led to believe that this is being caused by people wishing to bring around chaos and destruction within our city. I am, by no means saying that those poor victims are actors within this plot, not for a moment. However, I do suspect that they are playing a role but against their will. We are almost certain that people are becoming enthralled via Modify Memory. Our soruces are getting ever closer to the people causing this autrosity. Any information we have discovered has been and will continue to be passed to the Guards of Helm. I want to put the public's mind at rest, if the guards will not protect you then we shall. I am calling upon any able bodied, preferably seasoned adventurers to come to the church and follow up the latest lead that we discovered yesterday."
Surely between the Clerics of Corellian and the Guards of Helm, these chaotic warmongers will be brought to justice. Harmon Diaz.
