Personal history

Samuel MacCaog was born on Moonfall to a day laborer and an unknown father. He spent the first few years of his life in the care of his mother, but by 5316 port records show that she had bartered for passage off Moonfall with her labor, leaving the young Samuel behind. Samuel was offered for care to the Temples - the Temple of Death accepted him, and in 5324 placed him with a brewer as an apprentice. It would appear that becoming an apprentice brewer was not to young Samuel’s liking - by 5327 he is no longer reported as earning apprentice wages at the brewery. From here there are a series of infractions ranging from drunkenness to brawling. After one such public brawl in early 5330 with another boy, Samuel was offered the option of a year-long enlistment in the JNS fleet as a sailor as his public service, or to be remanded to the mining tartans for a year. Samuel opted for the Navy.

Employment

Samuel was aboard the JNS Mistress of Guile when it fled the Thrasher system. Once the Mistress fled the Thrasher system it is reported that many crewmen fled the ship, but Samuel did not. He is reported as having taken part in both the raid of the Tsar Catherine and the Battle of Rtascur in a boarding action against the MMV Discovery, as well as the kidnapping of Kyrlous Jenet on Glacier’s Peak and the raid on the prison world Melpomene. He currently is believed to be on the Jenet Estate with other Jenet Forces.
