The goddess of love and pleasure, when mere humans promise each other to love and care for each other they use Mylenes name to prove there loyalty to each other. In the realms of the gods Mylene is know as the most beautiful god she has been asked by Dohren to marry him on multiple occasions, each time Mylene has told him if he proves himself to be the strongest she would marry him. This is where his obsession started 

Major war

Mylene was a member of the anti war faction she didnt want humans to lose there love and trusted ones in the battle. When humans are in love with each enough to use her name she wants them to stay together and continue to love each other till death, so when one takes away that love they gain the wraith of not just the god of love but also the god of strength.
