Felidians

Basic Information

Anatomy

Felidians are a humanoid race with feline features. Their faces are similar to big cats such as lions and tigers. All Felidians have sharp fangs, claws, a tail, and cat-like ears. Their bodies are covered with fur of varying length.

Ecology and Habitats

Felidians are incredibly versatile. They are able to survive in a myriad of enviroments and climates, but are most well known for their forest and jungle communities.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Most Felidians prefer to enjoy a primarily meat-based diet, but they are able to digest plants.

Biological Cycle

Similarly to cats, Felidians may shed during the summer or grow thicker coats during the winter based on their enviroment.

Social Structure

Most Felidians live in very tribal communities. These communities are often quite small, with seperate territories. They do not include other races, and are somewhat secluded from the rest of society. They most often hunt their own food and trade good amongst ally communities.
There are a few established Felidian cities, but they are not common. Many Felidians who do not live in the small communities become merchants to the cities of other nations and sell their specialized wares.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Felidians have heightened senses of smell, hearing, and reflexes. These capabilities coupled with enhanced night vision make them dangerous hunters.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Felidians can occur in any color natural to that of a cat. They often appear with brown, orange, red, gray, black, or white fur. Patterns such as stripes or spots can occur alongside any of these colors. Most markings resemble that of a big cat in some way.
