Dwalund's Last Drink

Dwalund's Last Drink is the tradition of "having a last drink".

History

A long time ago, before the Dwarven clans were united into the Utrimar Kingdom. Two rivalling clans, decided that they would decide who would get the claim on a recently found ore vein by going to war with eachother. The war, not being much more than a single skirmish that lasted for a couple of hours, was to be held the next day. With most of the dwarves celebrating their possible last night alive. Alledgedly, a dwarf called Dwalund, already quite drunk, asked for  the barkeep, "to have one last drink" before he would go to sleep. The barkeep, as a joke, gave Dwalund a bucket instead of a pint of beer. Dwalund downed the bucket, standing at the bar. Shortly after that collapsing on the floor.   for it only lasted one day.

Participants

Generally, all able and willing dwarves from the Utrimar Kingdom observe this holiday. Only the youngest dwarves do not drink.
