Selkamos the Weary

Selkamos' story is not the darkest, nor is it one that includes a happy childhood. As a younger spawn, Selkamos did not fare well at school. His strikingly small tail was the target of many a bully, and his solitary nature did not do much for his desire to make at least one or two friends. In his earlier adult years, Selkamos made an attempt at studying magic, but turned out to lack talent. Then one day, he and another apprentice, one with darker intents, accidentally blew up the shack in which they had installed their laboratory. His partner was knocked unconscious. By the time the authorities arrived, Selkamos had vanished. From that day on, Selkamos has been alone, travelling from village to village. He makes a living stealing valuables and food, or cheating and manipulating people into giving those to him.
Rather recently, Selkamos decided to join a mariachi band, blowing softly on a woodwind instrument.
