The Lost Tomes of Grelod: 1487 On the War of the Twelve Dukes
I've found evidence that supports the theory that a great war between the forces of Hell and the inhabitants of this world was fought. I have procured a weathered stone tablet, depicting the Twelve Dukes, with their king, Gront. It shows them being defeated by a single person and banishing them back to their own Plane of Hell. At the moment I'm not quite sure who this person is. Maybe an expedition to the finding place of this stone tablet is in order.
For years the other scolars have refused to listen to my reasoning. The absence of any recorded history from before the Fall of the Onallis Empire doesn't sit right with me. And I will get to the bottom of this.
For quite some time I've been trying to find out what caused the Fall of the Onallis Empire, and I feel that this war is somehow connected with it.
