The River of Salt

A sparkling river of crystalline white slush snakes through all three layers ot Azzagrat like a river, and indeed specially prepared trade vessels float upon its salty surface in a rotation that brings them to every city in Graz’zt’s domain.
The river is a mass of moving minerals that are somehow liquid and solid simultaneously. It is possible to steer a magical ship or raft down the river. However, creatures unfortunate enough to fall into the river are ground under by the rasping masses of sharp salt crystals. Anything that isn’t choked by the salty dusts is usually reduced to a reddish paste within a few minutes.
The River of Salt flows through Zelatar and Zrintor.
