Praeliatoris

"For the Heart of the Sword!"
Praeliatoris is the deity of love, home, and the desire to protect, as well as secondarily representing craftsmanship, tinkering, and creativity. She is a well-known deity and many have chosen to follow her thanks to the wide range of people she has relevance to.

History

Praeliatoris is a deity with a complex history. Over the years, she has fought and vanquished many opponents. The most notable of these would be Twisted, an abyss-spawn who terrorized the continent of Amnisica for years. They had been at each other's throats and fought many times, but the final battle occurred when Val'Muthaar Praelia, her beloved, was captured. Enraged by such a thing, Praeliatoris awoke her ancestor, Zeroth, who fought and died to permanently slay Twisted. It was a short battle, in which Zeroth tackled Twisted off an island in the Void and plummeted into the abyss, where the Great Wyrm known simply as Scourge devoured them both.

Artifacts

The Mithril Heart

The Mithril Heart is a tower shield that very few can break through. The wielder gains resistance against psychic damage, as well as resistance against magical blows. It is a bulwark against terror in its purest form; its strength only dictated by the willpower of the wielder.

The Brazen Standart

The Brazen Standart is a war flag, often mounted atop one's backpack or helmet. Its presence grants allies in a three-hundred-foot radius courage and strength of will, granting them resistance to psychic attacks as well as immunity to spells or abilities intended to impose fear.

Greatblade of the Vengeful

The Greatblade of the Vengeful is a mighty blade. It is similar to a montante or zweihander, with a crossguard in the shape of wings, a heart engraved into the center of said guard.  Its blows inflict radiant, lightning, or fire damage (wielder chooses). Those who wield it gain willpower and a mind akin to a fortress, granting them immunity to psychic damage, as well as immunity to fear-inflicting spells, abilities or attacks.
