Blur
Patrick Vasquez, better known as Blur, is a member if Brockton Bay superhero team New Wave. He is the son of Temper and Unbreakable.
Powers and Abilities
Blur can transform into a Changer state with two sets of powers; which have elements of both his mothers and his fathers powers. He can only access one of these power sets at a time; whenever he uses a power from one set, the powers in his other set become inaccessible to him. The first set of powers allows him to change his density and/or become almost completely invisible. The density effect can briefly be passed on to one or two people that Patrick is touching. The second set of powers is to summon force fields. He can't change the size and shape like his father could, and they aren't as strong; but unlike his father Patrick can conjure multiple force fields. The upper limit that he can conjure at one time is unknown. Curiously, Patrick's Changer form is female.Profile
Patrick is withdrawn and quiet, particularly when compared to the rest of his outgoing and audacious celebrity family. Following his fathers death during an Endbringer attack, he told interviewers that he only became a superhero to protect his mom ,since his dad's shield isn't here to protect her anymore*. Patrick is currently a senior at Kent University, where he is expected to earn his masters degree in Physics degree next fall. * Commenters in the parahuman wikia have pointed out that Patrick's mom is indestructible, speculating that the line's real purpose was to "get pussy".
