Tinker

Tinkes possess a natural, intuitive understanding of a specific type of technology. Tinkers can create devices or alter existing devices well beyond the usual restrictions of education, knowledge, resources, or physics. They are typically confined to one branch of technology, ie- can only create explosives, but the limits occasionally express themselves in other ways; such as requiring specific materials.
Important note - Tinker powers are completely unrelated to the subjects intelligence outside of their specialty. One might expect a chemist to have exceptional intelligence in order to master the difficult subject matter of their profession; but this is not the case for Tinkers. A Tinker might have the ability to make amazing potions; but have average or below average intelligence in all other respects besides specifically potion making.
