Before becoming the superhero known as Unbreakable, Daniel Vasquez was NASCAR driver.
Powers and Abilities
Unbreakable had the power to summon an indestructible force field. He could expand or retract it's size, as well as limited control over it's rough shape. He could only have one force field at a time.
Daniel could fly when he himself was inside the force field, but this effect could not be imparted to anybody else. Daniel's son Patrick was the only exception.
Profile
Daniel was a successful race car driver prior to his career as a superhero. His power to create force fields triggered during a fiery explosion following a massive accident during a televised race. Dan's trigger event was caught on camera and became a sensation, likely inspiring New Wave's concept of going public with their identities.
Unbreakable died when Behemoth attacked Paris in 2013. His force field shattered while he trying to pull his teammate Temper out of the Endbringer's "kill aura".
Somewhat ironically, his heroic death was captured on camera as well. The number of hits it has on youtube is depressing.
Despite two successful careers and a public, heroic death; Unbreakable is perhaps best known for the sex tape that emerged of he and Twister in the late 90's.
