Aura is "seen" by the mind as layers of colors, though in reality it is "felt" like a sixth sense. The brightness, hue, and pulsing of each layer communicates information about an individual's wellbeing. The Legendary Pokemon Zygarde has the ability to non-lethally block the flow of Aura.

Environmental Impact

The land of Thenia is said to be suffused with Aura, a radiant energy that emanates from the earth, air, and water. This Aura is most concentrated in sacred sites scattered throughout the region, where natural beauty is at its most breathtaking. Majestic mountains, ancient forests, crystalline lakes, and windswept plains are all imbued with this powerful energy, creating areas of intense spiritual significance. The Blinding had depleted the Aura in these areas, but Aura is slowly retaking the land, restoring it with nature.

• Mountains and Peaks: The highest peaks in Thenia are believed to be closest to the source of Aura, with the most potent energies concentrated at their summits. These mountains are often shrouded in mist, giving them an otherworldly appearance. Here, Aura flows freely, and those who climb these peaks often report feeling a deep connection to the world around them, gaining insight or even visions.
• Forests and Groves: The forests of Thenia are ancient and vast, with some trees believed to be thousands of years old. These groves are considered sacred, as they are believed to be guardians of the Aura. The trees are said to hum with energy, and those will the ability to use Aura who enter these woods often feel the Aura resonating with their own, enhancing their senses and abilities.
• Lakes and Rivers: The waters of Thenia are believed to be purified by Aura, with some lakes and rivers considered holy. It is said that these waters can heal wounds, cleanse impurities, and restore vitality. Despite being depleted when used for any feat, the used energy returns with sufficient rest. Efficient Aura use is improved through rigorous training. Overexertion will dramatically impact this, as it is fatal to exhaust one's Aura completely.
