Living in Thenia's dark era isn't easy. The allies you've made have done everything in their power to make your job easier, but you still have a wasteland to deal with. Come prepared for the mission or face the consequences.
Survival Actions
Each action occurs over one time period.
- Travel: Move along an existing route to your destination. This is more common in the forests and grasslands; there are no routes in the desert. Travelling doesn't require a Survival check.
- Trailblaze: Make your own path as you move forward. Survival check, considered one lower. Failing the check can lead to complications such as getting lost or being ambushed. If you roll over it, you'll find shortcuts or otherwise cut down on travel time.
- Forage: Search the local area for supplies, namely food. Survival check. For every level above the target, you get additional supplies.
- Track: Look for signs of life. Survival (or Perception?) check, considered one higher if searching for something specific. You can get around this with the Tracker Capability, but only if you have a scent already.
Terrains
Some biomes are easier to deal with than others. Whenever you take a Survival Action, you need to roll a certain amount or higher to succeed. Each terrain, and their difficulty level, are below.

Weather
Weather conditions can change randomly throughout the day. The types of weather you'll see depend on the kind of biome you're in. For example, intense sunlight is much more common in the desert than rain. Tracking weather forecasts can help you plan ahead and prepare for the worst. Check the Weather Move keyword in to see the effects of each.
Weather Types: Clear/Cloudy, Sunny, Raining, Sandstorm, Snowing/Hailing
