Candle Spirit

Candle Spirits are small elementals that make their homes around long burning candles or collections of candles burned consecutively. They are often nearly invisible though when they are seen they appear as small tiny vaguely humanoid flames. Seeing one or having one live in your house or place of work is considered good luck.
These creatures amplify the emotions of joy, contentment, and solemnity depending on the setting around them. Joy is amplified at celebratory gatherings particularly those that happen in the winter or with many candles and causes the revelers to be more likely to ignore or laugh off small or unintentional slights. Contentment is most often amplified when a task is being diligently performed late at night  and provides a deep sense of accomplishment. Finally solemnity is amplified at somber gatherings such s funerals in which it helps the gathers recall fond memories of the departed.
Candle spirits rarely reveal their presents with the exceptions occasionally being made for lonely children and those that regularly work late into the night by themselves.
They can be used as familiars.
