Asmund Stargazer

Gatebreaker, Kingsguard Asmund Stargazer (a.k.a. Juggernaught)

The guard of Orzhov could never run effectively without the direct intervention of Asmund. A man made of Adamantium, said to hail from the stars themselves, he keeps everyone in line with his rough and tough, terrifying exterior, but is known as a more philisophical, and gentle man than most, so long as you remain on his good side.

Physical Description

Body Features

Has spiked chains that extends from the wrists, made of adamantine, he has an almost unnatural ability to control it to his whim. Has spikes that extend off of his skin, allowing him to use his own body as a spiked battering ram.

Apparel & Accessories

Wears a casual toga, trimmed with gold. A gift from Espeaux Shadowdirk on his employment.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Little is known before Asmund, prevously just an unnamed machine like being, crashed into the world of pondera in the frozen wastes of the north, in the center of a frozen tundra, on the outskirts of the Greyplains camp. Unlike others of his kind, asmund was not immediately hostile to those around him, for it was not his mission. What his original mission was, has been lost to time however. Instead, he entered the campsite, and those who stood against him were struck down until he reached Warchief Greyplain himself.
Sources say that it was Asmund himself that promoted the idea on how Warchief Greyplain could lead an army to victory against the countries of the south, especially with a population starving as it was. The warchief decided to enact Asmunds grand plan, and claim it as his own, threatening to kill anyone who said otherwise. A threat he held once during preparations.
Asmund was the one who personally slew all but 1 living member of House Schwert, and all of their kingsguard. But Asmund has no memory of these events either. He doesn't remember, though has first hand accounts of the slaughter he enacted on the front gates of Seconvale, The City of Smiles, killing twenty five people in the blink of an eye before running into the city. Unlucky for him, his first memories started after Violet Shadowdirk knocked the memories out of him, starting him back from square one, with no memories of his past, save for one. A memory of someone called "The Maker." Though the memory is faint, it is nearly depleated after all this time.
After losing his memories, he was recruited to become the guard for Espeaux Shadowdirk, where he remains to this day. Even after Espeaux Shadowdirk stepping down, he remained part of their guard as they took unnofficial ownership of Orzhov.

Gender Identity

As a genderless creature, Asmund has chosen to identify as male, but doesn't carer what people call him in general.

Education

Due to the limited knowledge of his history, Asmund has very little formal education. However, he is unmatched in fighting prowess, and is considered by far the strongest fighter of if not Orzhov, all of Ekklisia. He does understand numerous languages however, due to his time in the college.

Intellectual Characteristics

Has a strange facination with the stars. Uses his off time to stargaze, and peer through a telescope.

Taboos

Absoultely refuses to let anyone dismantle or study him. His design is simple and he will elaborate on many fronts about what he can do, but knows that if he is dismantled, he may die, and does not wish that upon himself. Has given numerous threats of leaving the care of Orzhov should they attempt to do so.

Asmund has a deep yearning to learn more about the stars, as if he is looking for something, or someone. He talks about the Maker every so often, like some sort of religious yearning, but still has no information on the subject.
