Flame
First discovered after tests and trials using prestidigitation, and its affects on being able to light small fires, Flame is considered an essential tool in combat for casters. Even worse is it is considered the primary source of fear for many armies operating in larger numbers.
Effect
Upon performing the final chant or components of the spell, a small bead appears in the casters hand which is flicked at a target, which sets it aflame in a controlled burst.

Side/Secondary Effects
No matter the affect or superior control of the flame spell, all objects leave the same acidic and sulfuric smell on the location it was cast in, and where the flame was activated for several days after the initial spell usage.
