Our Fathers Mercy

Originally a small fishing town in the Kingdom of Baal, it made an impact from fishing, until it became a major hub of trade throughout the coast due to its prime location. Due to this, allthough a bit on the average size for a city, Our Fathers Mercy has a wide variety of excursions that someone could partake. Between strange market stalls, brothels and culinary wonders from all over the continent, the city has its own mild secrets worth exploring.

Demographics

A very wide majority of the city is human, but with a handfull of elves, and other races.

Government

As theocracy, one set upon by many different faiths within The Pondarac Pantheon, each faith within the town is represented by a church or shrine. Each church has a representative, elected or otherwise, to help make formal decisions in a council of elders, who make the steadfast rules of the town. Each representative may also take up a responsibility of the town, the funding coming from their churches worshipers.

Districts

The Docks

Considered to be more of an industiral district than anything, there are plenty of warehouses, a couple of nearby inns, and some sorting and manufacturing plants throughout the area. Normal Dans Sleep House is the only inn at the docks, and is frequented by travelers on a regular basis.
Additionally, because of a lack of restaraunts in the area, many food carts and vendors are set up along the dock, peddling their wares and selling food for the cheap for the hungry traveler.
