A local child goes missing, and the party track him to a goblin campsite with dark rituals afoot.

A merchant and a strange man come into the tavern, the party overhearing that the strange man had the merchants son held hostage. The party decide to follow the man, and find that he is approached by Goblins from the woods. They converse, but the goblins suddenly spot the party. The party easily dispatches the goblins and captures the mysterious man. The party discusses the goblin encampment, and find that Blaze actually scouted it several months beforehand for a mission. When trying to interrogate the goblin, all they found was a pile of maggots, and his equipment. The party interrogates the mysterious man instead, who informed them that the goblin encampment was raided, but that he wasn't sure how it survived the raid, only that the goblins were worshiping a goddess at that point. They let the man go, and go into the forest to find the goblin encampment. The encampment was of a moderate size, and in the center was a large totem with smoke pouring out of it from below, where a great bonfire was held. Near the rear, they found a large stone structure that looked to have been recently created made of granite, looking like a temple. Deciding that the needed to cause a distraction, violet tries to sneak in through the rear while the rest of the party walk straight in through the front. Seeing the party, the goblins finish a ritual that summons a Dire Guardian to fight against the "champions." which is easily dispatched. The party sees the "goddess" an erinyes fly to the top of the totem pole, with Violet held by a rope over a long, far drop that could easily kill her, and the Erinyes bargains with the party. The missing child for a home, and a promise from Kaelyn to defeat her grandmother, in exchange for a rock from the dragons lair, and Violet back in the parties hands. To which both are accepted. The party brings the child back to the merchant, who happened to be a rare goods merchant, who offers a reduced price to the party for life as thanks for their help. Blaze decided to drop off the book the party retrieved to a scholor he knew, in order to look up more information about it.
