The top of the chain are King Oberon and Queen Titania, who are the most magically gifted of the fairies.

Magical power is seen as an extension of the soul and so those with more magical abilities are considered more intellectually, morally and emotionally superior to their colleagues. Those who use their magic for corrupt reasons are seen as slothful people who don't take their blessings seriously.
