Ensor

The ensor religion   This religion is a polythiestic benevolent creator religion believing in the gods, eversor, ad ens, and mutatio.   Belief   The belief of this religion is “First there was nothing, then Ad Ens arose and with her rose her brother, eversor. Together they joined their power and the universe began. Earth, the sun and stars, the atmosphere, the water, the plants and animals, the dragons. Then they had joined themselves and had a child, mutatio. With mutatios help they gave sentience and to the world. Ad Ens created the first angel, life. Eversor created the first demon death. Mutatio with their parents help created love. And the world began. 15,700,000,000 years later the world ended. The humans had gotten out of control killing spirits and dragons, so the gods poked the anthill and ended the world. To keep the humans under control the gods created vampires, the hunters of man, and transformed a large population of man into hybrids and humanoids. 3800 years later here we are.   Practices   Wear a gem to represent your soul around your neck, use a humble string to hold it.   Holy days   Dark and bright are days dedicated to eversor and ad ens. Everyday is to be a day to worship mutatio, the creator of man.   Taboos   Killing Groundhog or peryton   Ceremonies   Every evening pray to eversor for safe passage through his realm. Every morning pray to Ad Ens for safe passage through hers. And every noon pray to Mutatio thanking them for life and sentience.   Wedding ceremony   The bride will wear blue to represent Ad ens and the groom will wear red to represent eversor. Everyone else will wear yellow to represent mutatio. The ceremony starts with a challenge at a dance floor. Usually pre choreographed. But some hard core dancers actually challenge the other to a dance off. When the dance is completed with a dip and kiss they have been married.   Funerals   The body is brought forth. The relatives and loved ones of the dead one will decide if their body goes to Ad Ens or Eversor. If they go to Eversor their body is cremated. If they go to Ad Ens their body is placed in a sack with a sapling. And buried, the resulting tree is considered the grave. The ashes of the cremation are usually thrown in the ocean. During this we share stories of our good times with the person.
